RMB Namibia has announced that it has been awarded the title of World’s Best Sub-Custodian Banks for 2026 by Global Finance.

The recognition forms part of Global Finance’s 24th annual Best Sub-Custodian Bank Awards, which benchmark excellence across 83 countries and territories.

The awards are based on extensive market research, expert industry insights, and client feedback, with performance assessed throughout 2025.

The award underscores the RMB Group’s strength in delivering high-quality, reliable asset servicing in an increasingly complex and highly regulated global financial environment.

Institutions were evaluated on key criteria, including client service, operational excellence, technological capability, post-settlement efficiency, and deep local market expertise.

From a Namibia perspective, the award reflects RMB Namibia’s continued commitment to supporting institutional investors with robust custody solutions anchored in strong governance, innovation, and client-centric service delivery.

Reflecting on the recognition, Daniel Motinga, Chief Executive Officer of RMB Namibia, noted: “This recognition is a proud moment for RMB Namibia and reflects the strength of our people, our systems, and our commitment to excellence in everything we do. In a rapidly evolving financial landscape, our clients rely on us for precision, trust, and consistency. This award affirms that we are delivering on that promise every day.”

Motinga added, “Being recognised on a global stage speaks to the strength and the depth of capability we have built across Southern Africa. It reinforces our ambition to continuously raise the bar in custody services and to remain a trusted partner to institutional investors navigating increasingly complex global markets.”

RMB said the achievement further reinforces RMB Namibia’s position as a trusted partner for global institutional investors and highlights the depth and maturity of its custody capabilities across Southern Africa.

RMB Namibia said it remains committed to strengthening its custody offering through continuous innovation, operational excellence, and a deep focus on client-centric solutions that support investors in navigating an increasingly dynamic global financial landscape.
