A house was destroyed by fire in Marema village, Kavango West Region, in an alleged arson incident during the early hours of Friday.

According to the Namibian Police Force, the incident occurred at around 01h00 when a suspect allegedly set fire to the complainant’s house without consent, resulting in the destruction of household properties valued at approximately N$32 025.

The suspect has not yet been arrested, while police investigations into the matter continue.
