The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is set to mark a leadership transition on 1 October, when founding Director-General Paulus Noa officially hands over the reins to newly appointed Director-General Bryan Eiseb.
The handover will bring to an end Noa’s tenure of 20 years and several months at the helm of the commission, with the ACC describing the occasion as the beginning of “a new chapter” for the institution.
According to the ACC, the event will also recognise Noa’s contribution to the establishment, development and growth of the commission since its inception.
Eiseb will formally assume overall responsibility for the ACC, including its leadership, strategic direction and oversight as it continues its mandate to combat corruption and promote integrity, transparency and accountability in Namibia.
