President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has arrived in Guangzhou for her official State Visit to the People’s Republic of China, taking place from 5 to 11 July 2026, at the invitation of President Xi Jinping.
The visit underscores the strong Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership between Namibia and China, reflecting a shared commitment to mutual respect, solidarity, and sustainable development.
During the visit, the Head of State will hold high-level bilateral talks with President Xi Jinping and the Premier of the State Council, as well as engage with provincial and municipal leaders in Guangdong Province (including Guangzhou and Shenzhen), Beijing, and Sichuan Province.
The programme is expected to deepen economic cooperation and advance practical joint initiatives aimed at delivering tangible benefits to citizens in both Namibia and China.
