Police in Rehoboth have confirmed the arrest of a doctor in connection with an alleged rape.
Hardap crime investigations head Deputy Commissioner Theodore Kotungondo said the alleged incident occurred on 4 September 2026 at about 21h30 in Block D, Rehoboth.
Police allege that the 40-year-old complainant was in her room when the suspect arrived and asked to have anal sex with her.
After she refused, he allegedly played loud music, forced her onto the bed and sexually assaulting her without consent.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday and remains in custody. He is expected to be appear before the Rehoboth Magistrate’s Court.
