An 84-year-old man was found dead at his home in Ombora village near Omatjete on Friday night.

According to the weekend crime report, the pensioner’s lifeless body was discovered lying on his bed at around 21:00.

It is alleged he reportedly suffered from a medical condition. His next of kin have been informed and an inquest has been opened.

Police investigations are ongoing.
