Agribank urges FMD-hit farmers to engage

By Staff Reporter

Agribank has urged customers affected by the Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak to engage the bank if the outbreak and related restrictions are affecting their farming or agribusiness operations.

In a statement, Agribank chief executive officer Robert Eiman said affected clients would be assessed on a case-by-case basis, with the bank working with them to identify appropriate repayment arrangements and support options.

“Affected clients are welcome to engage the bank on how the FMD outbreak and related restrictions may affect or have affected their operations,” Eiman stated.
