Acacia-Composites Manufacturers welcomed Asser Nashikaku, acting executive director at the ministry of international relations and trade (MIRT), together with his delegation, for an immersive tour of the manufacturing facility in Windhoek.
This high-level visit forms part of Namibia’s ongoing commitment to supporting export-ready manufacturers and creating new opportunities for Namibian innovation to reach global markets.
Eike Bolm, business development manager at Acacia-Composites Manufacturers, welcomed the delegation and guided them through the company’s state-of-the-art operations, broad product range, and ambitious growth roadmap.
There were discussions about the ministry’s drive to connect local manufacturing excellence with international investors, partners, and new trade opportunities.
The visit also forms part of a wider ministry initiative which is to assemble various Namibian manufacturers and products for audiences abroad.
Signature products from Acacia-Composites have been selected to feature in an upcoming regional trade mission, showcasing Namibia’s world-class production to key regional partners.
Acacia-Composites also highlighted its commitment to responsible local sourcing. By partnering with Namibian farming communities that clear encroacher bush, the company supports land restoration, boosts grazing capacity, and champions sustainable agriculture.
Every batch, they said, is fully traceable and export-ready, meeting the stringent standards of international markets.
Looking to the future, Acacia-Composites revealed exciting plans to expand production in step with surging demand.
With facility upgrades underway, the company is gearing up for round-the-clock operations and greater extrusion capacity to meet the needs of both local and international clients.
The team also addressed today’s global supply chain hurdles, particularly in HDPE supply and pricing, and pledged to maintain product availability through agile production, smart sourcing, and resilient partnerships.
