Bannerman Energy Ltd has announced a change in its Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX) sponsorship arrangement, confirming the appointment of Cirrus Securities (Pty) Ltd as its new equity sponsor, effective 5 June 2026.
The Australia-incorporated uranium developer, which maintains a dual listing structure across the ASX and NSX, said the move forms part of a planned rotation of its NSX sponsorship services in line with the exchange’s listing requirements.
In terms of Sections 2.2 and 2.6 of the NSX Listings Requirements, shareholders were advised that IJG Securities (Pty) Ltd will step down from its role as NSX equity sponsor after serving the company during its previous tenure. The rotation takes effect on 5 June 2026.
The company expressed appreciation to IJG Securities for its support and services provided during its period as sponsor, noting its role in maintaining Bannerman Energy’s compliance and market presence on the local exchange.
Cirrus Securities will now assume responsibility for the company’s NSX equity sponsorship, overseeing regulatory liaison and compliance obligations linked to the firm’s Namibian dual listing.
Bannerman Energy, which is advancing its uranium development projects, remains dual listed under the ASX ticker BMN and NSX ticker BMN. The board confirmed that the transition is administrative in nature and does not affect the company’s operations or strategic direction.
