A 15-year-old boy died after he was allegedly stabbed during a family altercation in Otjomuise. According to the weekend crime report, a 10-year-old relative has been arrested in connection with the incident.
In a separate incident, a one-year-and-four-month-old child died following an alleged domestic dispute. It is alleged that the suspect, the child’s father, arrived at the mother’s residence while intoxicated, where an altercation occurred. During the incident, the child was reportedly caught up in the situation and fell, sustaining injuries. The child was taken to Okurangava Clinic and later transferred to Katutura State Hospital, where he was declared dead. The father has been arrested.
Investigations continue in both cases.
