The ANC has expelled former president Jacob Zuma.

Zuma was hauled before the party’s disciplinary committee after he publicly endorsed the uMkhonto Wesizwe Party (MKP) ahead of the 29 May elections.Zuma faced two charges: one for collaborating with another political organisation (MKP) and the second for joining another political party not aligned with the ANC.
According to a leaked page from what is believed from the ANC’s disciplinary hearing, the charged member was found guilty of contravening the ANC Constitution.

Zuma has 21 days to appeal the decision with the National Disciplinary Committee of Appeal.
