ZZI Family Hair Studio will be hosting its first ZZI Hair Empower event on 1 October 2020.. It will be hosted online to adhere to COVID-19 regulations. The Hair Empower event forms part of the Studios’ educative and corporate social responsibility arm. Some of the proceeds from the tickets will go towards an initiative that promotes the well-being of the community in which, ZZI Family Studio operates in.
The aim of the event is to create brand awareness of the ZZI Family Hair Studio, as a family Studio and to educate both males and females about hair health and hair care.
The Hair empower event has three segments. The first segment is the Hair education. The Studio will invite an expert in hair to talk about hair health and hair care. The second segment will have a motivational guest speaker, who will talk on a range of topics that affect families.
This event will have Martha Namundjebo-Tilahun as the guest speaker. She will be talking about “How to navigate through the new normal with resilience whilst reframing your personal and professional goals to be relevant during the effects of the pandemic.”
The third segment will be a demonstration segment, where the audience will get to witness in real- time how a treatment, hair style or anything hair related is done. The audience will also get an opportunity to ask questions. On the 1 October 2020 event, the ZZI Family Hair Studio and other partners, sponsored a total makeover.
Covid-19 has had an impact on people’s jobs, families, homes and so much more. Some have lost hope, and some have lost their loved ones. It is against this background that the ZZI Family Studio is invited the public to nominate someone who has been adversely affected by the pandemic and needs a makeover.
The person selected will receive: A hair treatment and styling from ZZI Family Hair Studio; A custom made dress by SynEdgy designs; Nail treatment by SG’s Beauty Care; and Make-up by Renata Nam_art and other fabulous rewards.
“At ZZI Family Hair Studio we believe that when you feel good and look good, you can conquer anything”, said Morna Ikosa, owner of ZZI Family Studio.
Lastly, ZZI Family Hair Studio is passionate about hair health and hair care. The Studio wants to empower people to take care of one of the least thought-of organs on their body. A person’s hair is their crown. We want Namibians to wear their crowns with pride and confidence. The Studio thus hopes that the Hair Empower event will evoke a sense of passion for hair care amongst Namibians. Cost for entry/participation – $350.
