Eba Kandovazu THE police in Ongwediva are investigating a rape incident in which a 15-year-old boy is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl who attended the same confirmation classes with him. Eba Kandovazu THE police in Ongwediva is investigating a case of theft after N$ 28 700 was stolen from a vehicle, minutes after the victim withdrew the money from a local bank on Friday. Police officers accused of brutally assaulting a man

Eba Kandovazu AN internal investigation is currently underway following the alleged brutal assault of a man in Ongwediva by four unnamed police officers about two weeks ago. The victim, Israel Nangolo (39) has since been hospitalised at the Oshakati State Hospital. As a result of the assault, Nangolo has been diagnosed with internal bleeding. He has also suffered from hemothorax, a collection of blood between his chest wall and the lungs, which is currently being drained. IUM discontinues non-education courses at Ongwediva

Eba Kandovazu THE International University of Management (IUM) has announced that as of next year, the Ongwediva campus will be solely devoted to the administration of Education programmes. Students currently enrolled for other programmes will be allowed to continue until they have completed their studies. No student intakes will be made other than those intending to study education from next January.
