The JSE granted the listing to Standard Bank for the senior unsecured floating rate indexed listed notes, which are sponsored by The Standard Bank of South Africa Limited.
The notes were issued at 100% of their nominal value, with the coupon rate linked to a floating rate. The nominal amount issued under the SSN228 instrument is R200 million.

Interest determination dates will fall on the fifth Johannesburg business day preceding each interest payment date. The first interest payment date will be determined in accordance with the applicable pricing supplement.
The notes will mature on 8 December 2026, when interest payments will also be made, subject to the terms set out in the applicable pricing supplement.
The listing forms part of Standard Bank’s ongoing Structured Note Programme, which allows the bank to issue a range of financial instruments to investors within its authorised R150 billion programme limit.
