Skeleton Basin Investments Limited has been listed on the Development Capital Board (DevX) of the Namibia Securities Exchange (NSX) as a Capital Pool Company.
The company, incorporated in Namibia under registration number 026/1470, said it had completed all requirements for the listing, which became effective on 28 August 2026.
Skeleton Basin Investments trades on the NSX under the share code RIG, with ISIN NA000A42LSF7.
As a Capital Pool Company, the listing provides Skeleton Basin Investments with a listed vehicle through which it can pursue an investment opportunity and potentially acquire an operating business or assets, subject to the applicable requirements.
The company made the announcement on 28 August 2026 following approval of the listing by the NSX.
Cirrus Securities (Pty) Ltd, a member of the NSX, acted as the company’s sponsor.
The listing adds another Capital Pool Company to Namibia’s developing capital-market ecosystem and provides investors with access to a vehicle intended to identify and pursue future investment opportunities.
In the 2025 annual report, the NSX said following several years of minimal growth, the NSX saw growth in both equity and debt listings in 2024 and 2025.
As of 31 December 2025, the equity market comprised 61 (2024:58) securities, including ETFs and ETNs, listed on the Main Board and DevX.
These included 28 dual listed companies (companies with a primary listing in another jurisdiction), 12 local-listed companies, 11 ETFs and 10 ETNs.
No delistings were recorded during the year. In the debt market, a total of 56 bonds were issued, including 17 new issuances during the year.
The NSX Strategic Plan 2025 – 2027 was developed in 2024 to support improved execution and performance management.
It was designed to fulfil the NSX’s purpose of regulating, diversifying and developing the Namibian capital market securely and transparently, considering relevant regional and national economic factors.
It aims to position the NSX as a catalyst in capital markets, increasing liquidity through greater participation of investors and issuers of securities.
The strategic plan provides clarity and a common focus to 2027, setting an ambitious goal to increase the market capitalisation on the NSX by 10% by December 2027 by creating a conducive market environment for more listings and liquidity.
