The Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF) has published its financial statement for the year ending in February 2023 in a daily newspaper.
This comes a day after the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) decided to deregister the party for failing to file its financial statement and have it published in one of the local newspapers.
NEFF deputy leader, Kalimbo Iipumbu in his statement released yesterday, said the party was in the process of publishing its statement last week.
ECN has since come under fire for the decision and the NEFF through its lawyer Kadhila Amoomo has given ECN until 27 June to withdraw its decision.
