Old Mutual Limited has received approval to migrate its secondary listing in Zimbabwe from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) to the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX), with trading of its shares on the new platform scheduled to begin on 12 August.

The financial services group announced on Tuesday that the migration had been approved, following an earlier announcement issued on 10 July 2026 regarding the planned move.

Old Mutual’s ordinary shares will commence trading on the VFEX with an opening price determined independently by the market through the submission and matching of bids and offers on the VFEX trading system.

The company said the VFEX’s usual trading price limits would not apply on the first day of trading. Normal trading limits of 20% of the previous day’s closing price will apply from the second trading day onwards.

Old Mutual, which is listed on several African and international exchanges including the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), London Stock Exchange (LSE), Malawi Stock Exchange (MSE), Namibia Stock Exchange (NSX) and Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, said the migration forms part of changes to its Zimbabwe market listing arrangements.

The group operates as a diversified African financial services provider, offering retail and corporate customers a range of solutions across key market segments in 12 countries.

With more than 180 years of heritage in sub-Saharan Africa, Old Mutual said it remains focused on supporting the communities and economies in which it operates. The group also maintains a niche business presence in China.
