The Namibia Football Association (NFA) in a media release has unveiled the two en bloc list of eligible candidates who will be vying for the eight positions in the Executive Council, in accordance with the revised statutes of the NFA. The upcoming elections are set to take place on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Mr Robert Shimooshili, the current NPFL Chairperson and Mr Patrick Kauta, are the two leaders who will be vying for the Presidential position, whoever wins, his lists of nominees will be elected as the new Executive Council for a period of four years.

List 1:
Mr. Robert Shimooshili – President – NPFL , Mr. Murs Markus – Vice-President – Southern Stream First Division, Mr. Laurance Tommy Kandundu – Ordinary Member – North West First Division, Mr. Joseph Hailombe – Ordinary Member – Ohangwena Region, Ms. Precious Chaka – Ordinary Member – Zambezi Region, Mr. Samwel Kamuyoyo – Ordinary Member – Kavango East Region, Mr. Egidius Mangundu Nambara – Ordinary Member – Kavango West Region, Mr. Michael Situde – Ordinary Member – Hardap Region
List 2:
Mr. Patrick Kauta – President – NPFL, Mr. Johny Johnson Doeseb – Vice-President – Erongo Region, Mr. Andreas Amesho – Ordinary Member – Oshana Region, Mr. David Morgan – Ordinary Member – Khomas Region, Ms. Anna Natasha Cloete – Ordinary Member – Namibia Women Football, Mr. Malieagi Ngarizemo – Ordinary Member – NPFL, Ms. Regina Kerthu Mushona – Ordinary Member – Kavango East Region, Mr. James Julius April – Ordinary Member – Erongo Region.
Additionally, in line with Article 37 (2) of the NFA’s statutes, Ms. Monica Shapwa, Chairperson of the Namibian Women Football Association (NWFA), will automatically hold a position as a member in the 9-member Executive Council.
