The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has directed the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters (NEFF) party to return the party’s registration certificate.
The ECN’s chief electoral and referenda officer, Peter Shaama, in a letter on Monday evening, notified the NEFF that it failed to file the necessary financial statements.
As a result, it has been deregistered and its registration certificate cancelled.
