Tsumeb and Oshakati are gearing up to host the 3rd and 4th rounds of the Nedbank for Good Series, set to kick off on June 8, 2024, in Tsumeb and then make its way to Oshakati on June 22, 2024. After a monthlong break, the series is back.
Dan Zwiebel, the coordinator of the Nedbank for Good Series, expressed his satisfaction with the preparations for the upcoming tour of the northern region. Last year saw an impressive turnout, with Tsumeb attracting 80 players and Oshakati hosting 25 players. Zwiebel is hopeful that this year’s numbers will match or even surpass those of the previous year.
The reigning champions from last year’s event in Tsumeb and Oshakati were Videlis Hanganda, Ruanda de Beer, Antonius Amugongo, and Eveline Shilongo.
The Nedbank for Good Series aims to raise funds for Agra ProVision, a noble cause dedicated to empowering underserved agricultural communities through training, services, and support.
In addition to Tsumeb and Oshakati, the series will visit several other towns in the southern region, including Mariental, Oranjemund, Henties Bay, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, and Windhoek, before culminating in the series final at the Omeya Golf Estate on the outskirts of Windhoek on October 4, 2024.

By investing in the knowledge and skills of disadvantaged farmers, the bank aims to foster sustainable futures and promote growth in the agricultural sector.
