The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) has announced that the list of shortlisted candidates for Basic Police Training is available on its official website ahead of training scheduled to begin on 1 November 2026.
In a public notice, NamPol said shortlisted candidates must report to their designated training centres between 28 and 31 October 2026.
Applicants can access the shortlist through the NamPol website at (https://nampol.gov.na/vacancies) or verify their status at their respective Regional Police Headquarters.
NamPol has also warned applicants, particularly those who were not shortlisted, against fraudsters demanding money or favours in exchange for recruitment.
The police force stressed that recruitment is free and no individual can guarantee placement.
Applicants have been urged to verify recruitment information through regional offices or the Public Relations Division and report suspected scams to the nearest police station.
