The MTC Namibia National Internship Programme (NNIP) has received a N$200 000 contribution from the Momentum Metropolitan Empowerment Trust (MMET).
This was announced by MTC chief marketing and corporate affairs officer, Tim Ekandjo on Tuesday.
The internship provides students with integrated learning opportunities while also gaining work experience.
In terms of sustainability, MTC commits an amount of N$2 million to the programme annually.
Momentum became the fourth corporate entity to aid the programme, joining the likes of Old Mutual, Standard Bank and MTC.
