Etienne Maritz, the executive director of the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the conclusion of the mass registration programme countrywide on Monday.
The programme started on 5 February and ended on 31 July and it assisted more than 110 000 people to register for national documents.
Approximately 31 000 birth certificates were issued and more than 6 000 birth certificate duplicates were issued.
More than 32 000 identity cards were issued and over 12 000 ID duplicates were issued.
Maritz said the ministry will also continue to provide its usual services and he urged the public to visit their nearest home affairs offices to apply or collect their national documents.
