The Khomas Regional Council says it remains committed to supporting the most vulnerable members of the Khomas Region during the winter season through its constituency offices.

Windhoek Rural constituency councillor Willem Gariseb said he recently handed over 83 winter blankets to vulnerable communities.

Thirty-three blankets were distributed to the Kaapsfarm community, elders in Braungardsbrun received 30 blankets, while the Braungardsbrun School Hostel received 20 blankets.

The Council stated that the initiative forms part of its ongoing commitment to provide relief, dignity, and hope to vulnerable residents during the cold winter months.
