This week, Focus FM, a leading Namibian radio station, has entered into a strategic partnership with Hannes and Eve Rides, a Yango partner, to bolster support for “The Vault,” a Namibian music countdown show hosted by local artist Don Kamati.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone for Hannes and Eve Rides as they celebrate one year of association with the global ride-hailing service, Yango, in Namibia.
The partnership aims to enhance Hannes and Eve Rides’ visibility in the Namibian market by supporting “The Vault” on Focus FM 89.0.
At the partnership announcement event in Windhoek, Evelina Shangheta, an executive member of Hannes and Eve Rides, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration’s potential to benefit drivers, Yango, and the broader Namibian community.
Shangheta highlighted the introduction of a rewards card for drivers, offering them access to discounted services such as spare parts and car washes, as a move to motivate and support them in their daily operations.
She praised Yango for introducing technology that empowers entrepreneurs and provides drivers with a sustainable source of income.
Since launching in Namibia, Yango’s impact has been significant, contributing to business growth and attracting further investment.
Shangheta encouraged more drivers and individuals to join their platform to achieve collective success in the industry.
Kumwe Dumeni, Yango’s Country Manager in Namibia, commended Hannes and Eve Rides on their first anniversary with Yango.
Dumeni highlighted the rewards card initiative as a beneficial move for both drivers and partners.
He also noted that the partnership with Focus FM would increase visibility for Hannes and Eve Rides and expand their network, emphasizing the company’s commitment to supporting the ride-hailing industry’s growth in Namibia.
“The Vault” launch is designed to celebrate Namibian creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation, particularly among the youth.
Hannes and Eve Rides Yango Partner, a subsidiary of Hannes and Eve Investment cc, is dedicated to enlisting and supporting drivers on the Yango platform.
Offering investment opportunities to both local and international investors, Hannes and Eve Rides has been operational since Yango’s launch in Namibia on 31 January 2022, making it the platform’s longest-serving partner in the market.
