The Women’s Super League will return this week as sports activities in the country resume.
The first match will take place on Friday at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Technical Stadium in Windhoek, where Beauties Football Club will face Football Club Ongos Ladies.
On Saturday, African Stars Queens Football Club will play Windhoek City Soccer Club at Uukwagula Stadium in Uukwagula. UNAM Bokkies Football Club will host Namib Daughters FC at the Unam Stadium at 11h00.
Julinho Athletic Ladies FC will meet VPower Angels FC at the NFA Technical Stadium, while Arrows Ladies FC will compete against Okahandja FC at the same venue.
Sunday will feature two matches at the NFA Technical Stadium. Beauties FC will play Khomas Nampol Ladies FC, and FC Ongos Ladies will face NUST Babes FC, both at 14h00.
Beauties FC currently leads the league with 22 points from 8 games. African Stars Queens FC follows closely with 22 points from 9 games, while FC Ongos Ladies holds third place with 20 points from 8 games.
Khomas Nampol Ladies FC sits fourth with 19 points from 9 games, and Arrows Ladies FC is fifth with 13 points from 9 games.
UNAM Bokkies FC is sixth with 12 points from 9 games, Julinho Athletic Ladies FC is seventh with 11 points from 9 games, and Windhoek City SC is eighth with 10 points from 9 games.
NUST Babes FC is ninth with 6 points from 9 games, and VPower Angels FC is tenth with 5 points from 9 games.
Namib Daughters FC and Okahandja FC are in the relegation zone, occupying positions 11 and 12 with 5 and 4 points from 9 games, respectively.
Both teams face the risk of being dropped from the league.
