Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) President Gianni Infantino has congratulated Football Club Ongos Ladies for winning the 2023/24 women’s championship.
In a letter addressed to Namibia Football Association President Robert Shimooshili this week, Infantino said FC Ongos ladies’ constant efforts and results throughout the season have paid off, resulting in the important title.
“Congratulations to each and every member of the team and of the club for this great achievement. While thanking you and your Association for your continuous support, work, and dedication for the development of women’s football in your country, I look forward, dear President, to seeing you again soon,” said Infantino.
