Namibian consumers stand to win a share of N$1 million in cash prizes under Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) in Namibia’s 2026 “Under the Cap” promotion, which runs from 1 September to 31 December.
The campaign, which has returned for another year, will offer weekly cash prizes of N$5 000, as well as a grand prize of N$50 000.
CCBA said more than 6 800 Namibians have won prizes through the promotion over the past two years, including microwaves, refrigerators, weekly cash prizes and airtime.
To participate in the 2026 campaign, consumers must purchase participating 330ml, 500ml, 600ml, 1-litre, 1.25-litre or 2-litre plastic bottles of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Twist, Sparletta or Stoney.
Consumers can find a unique code under the yellow bottle cap and enter it by dialling 14245845#, after which they must follow the prompts. Each entry costs N$2.
Faith Nehanda, senior manager for marketing at the Coca-Cola East and Central Africa Franchise, said the promotion was aimed at rewarding Namibian consumers for their continued support of the company’s brands.
“At Coca-Cola, we offer a wide variety of beverage choices for all lifestyles and occasions, while creating memorable experiences for our consumers. We are excited to reward our loyal consumers in Namibia with their share of N$1 million in cash prizes, including weekly cash prizes of N$5 000,” she said.
Maguire Mulder, commercial director at CCBA in Namibia, said the company continued to focus on developing marketing campaigns that connect with consumers.
He said the company’s recognition with the Most Innovative Marketing Campaign award for its Share a Coke campaign at the inaugural MTC Branding and Marketing Excellence Awards reflected its efforts to create campaigns that resonate with consumers.
Mulder added that the Under the Cap promotion builds on CCBA’s relationship with consumers across Namibia and is intended to reward people who have made its brands part of their everyday lives.
