Despite playing home away from home, the Brave Gladiators continued where they left off, when they continued to inflict defeat on Gambia, following their 2-0 win in their second leg for the WAFCON Qualification match in Morocco, which qualified them for the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations

As women football continues to take center stage, the performance of the national team will continue to keep the Namibian flag flying high.
The team will now face Ghana or Rwanda in the second round of the WAFCON qualifiers. Second round winners will qualify for the finals proper.
