THE police in Ondangwa are investigating a rape case in which a nine-year-old boy was allegedly raped by a 13-year old boy at the village of Okiimba on Tuesday.
According to Oshana Police Spokesperson, Inspector Thomas Aiyambo, the incident occurred around 16h00. The boy was reportedly on his way home when the suspect, approached him in the bushes and forced himself on him. Police say although both the suspect and victim are from the same village, the former is still at large.
In another rape incident, a case of rape was registered at Ongwediva Police station after a 13-year-old boy raped a seven-year-old boy. The incident occurred on Monday at Omaalala village.
The matter, according to Aiyambo, was reported to the Police by the victim’s grandmother. The suspect, although known, has not been arrested but investigations continue, Aiyambo says.
