Erasmus Shalihaxwe Team Namibia excelled at the Africa Aquatic Swimming Championship held at the Olympia swimming pool in Windhoek, finishing with an impressive 106 medals and scoring 2 758 points. The tournament which started on Wednesday and ended on Sunday, saw teams of both boys and girls winning 26 gold medals, 46 silver medals and 34 bronze medals. Even though team South Africa finished the tournament as the highest-ranked nation for winning more gold medals, the team only managed to win 84 medals overall.
