Eba Kandovazu A PASTOR from Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West region briefly appeared in the Kahenge Magistrate's Court today charged alongside his assistant. The Pastor, identified as Hamutenya Engelberth (25), and Elia Ihemba (36), were apprehended and charged with three counts of murder and one attempted murder count, following the death of three family members who died on Tuesday evening after the suspects allegedly administered a concoction of methylated spirit, olive oil, salt and vinegar through the rectum. Eba Kandovazu THE Landless People's Movement (LPM) is claiming that the penalty recommendations by the National Assembly privileges and immunities committee have not properly been communicated, nor are they clear. LPM’s Spokesperson, Eneas Emvula, says the party's next course of action will only be determined once the penalty against Bernadus Swartbooi and Henny Seibeb are clear. Staff Writer THE majority of public entities complied with the dictates of the law in terms of submitting annual procurement plans and quarterly procurement reports to the Procurement Policy Unit (PPU), in the Ministry of Finance for the 2020/21 financial year. This has provided a level of transparency, while still problematic in many aspects,that has not been seen on the public procurement landscape. According to a Procurement Tracker Namibia (PTN) review for September, 128 public entities out of 178 have submitted annual procurement plans to the PPU.
