Hertta-Maria Amutenja The Kavango East Regional Council has been dragged to court after it allegedly failed to settle a N$ 905 848.46 invoice for the repairment of sewerage overflowing ponds at Max Makushe Secondary School in Rundu. Empire Sense Investment (ESI), a construction company, has named the council and the Minister of Works and Transport (John Mutorwa) as the first and second defendants in court documents filed in the Windhoek High Court. The first two digital nomads’ visa applications were approved on 14 February 2023. Hertta-Maria Amutenja A 49 year-old man from Onandjila village in Omusati region brutally killed himself by slitting his throat with a kitchen knife last Sunday. The deceased, Jonas Iilonga, committed suicide in his shack at his mother’s homestead, according to Omusati Regional Commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson. “It is alleged that the deceased used a kitchen knife, to cut his throat, while he was in his sleeping shack.
