The office of the Prime Minister has appointed veteran journalist Toivo Ndjebela as deputy executive director in the Prime Minister’s bureau, effective 1 October 2026.
Ndjebela’s appointment comes alongside changes in the leadership and administration of the Office of the Prime Minister, with executive director of cabinet secretariat Petrus Sindimba appointed as Acting Accounting Officer for Vote 2.
Secretary to the Cabinet, Ambassador Emilia Mkusa, appointed Sindimba to assume the functions and full responsibilities of acting Accounting Officer from 1 October to 31 December 2026.
