The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) collected net revenue of N$17.094 billion by 30 June 2026, achieving 20.7% of its financial year (FY2026/27) annual revenue target of N$82.6 billion.
According to NamRA’s latest revenue update, the agency generated gross revenue of N$19.51 billion during the period under review. After processing refunds amounting to N$2.42 billion, net revenue stood at N$17.09 billion.
Domestic taxes accounted for the largest share of collections, contributing N$10.30 billion, representing 18% of the annual domestic tax target.
Customs and excise revenue totalled N$6.791 billion, equivalent to 26% of the annual customs and excise target.
A breakdown of the net revenue by tax category shows that Southern African Customs Union (SACU) receipts made the largest contribution, accounting for 33.8% or N$5.772 billion of total collections.
Value Added Tax (VAT) was the second-largest contributor at N$4.508 billion, representing 26.4% of net revenue, followed by Personal Income Tax (PIT) at N$4.390 billion, or 25.7%.
Other taxes contributed N$1.599 billion, accounting for 9.4% of total net revenue, while Corporate Income Tax (CIT) generated N$825.3 million, representing 4.8% of collections.
The figures cover revenue collected during the period ending 30 June 2026 and provide an indication of NamRA’s progress towards meeting its annual revenue target for the 2026/27 financial year.
