Namibia has been included among six African countries whose citizens will be allowed to visit Brazil without a visitor visa from 2026, in a move expected to strengthen tourism, business and cultural ties between the two countries.

The visa exemption will also apply to African countries such as Botswana, Morocco, Seychelles, South Africa and Tunisia.

Travellers will, however, still be required to meet Brazil’s immigration requirements, including presenting valid travel documents and complying with entry regulations.
