Dimitri Bittler, Chairperson of the Khomas Region Netball League, confirmed that NUST A Netball Team has been relegated from the Super 10 to the First Division for the upcoming season.
“There was no relegation in the 1st Division this year due to the exclusion of Rehoboth and Afrocat Omaheke, which left the division with only seven teams. As a result, no teams filled the usual 9th and 10th relegation spots,” Bittler explained.
In addition to the league standings, several teams and individuals were recognized for their outstanding contributions throughout the season. Trustco United Netball Club took home the awards for most disciplined club, sportsmanship, and club of the year.
Mianka Robberts was named player of the season, while Mara Lee Narris earned the umpire of the season title.
